Overview: Civil Engineer performs various functions for the company which covers many fields at a ‘normal’ standard of knowledge or skill. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; with atleast 2-3 years of proven experience in the field of Engineering.

Job Description: As an Engineer, duties shall include:

• In-depth knowledge to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided drafting through specialized software programs; broad knowledge of industry trends, mathematics and engineering principles, as well as building codes and regulations.
• Creating drawings, sketches, and models to communicate design ideas and collaborating the same with other stakeholders in developing computer models of buildings or structures using specialized software programs, which also meet building codes and standards.
• Reviewing blueprints, designs, and plans already created; conducting research regarding materials and techniques used in construction of buildings and other structures; evaluating building plans, prototypes, and structures to find problems and recommend improvements.
• Determining the feasibility of a design before beginning construction while at the same time, ensuring that the proposed structures are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
• Performing other engineering duties, including but not limited to equipment specification, design, construction, and maintenance of equipment and machinery, with attention to process enhancements to enable efficiency and productivity.
• Perform necessary office tasks such as materials canvass and acquisition, communications handling with clients, vendors and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person. Keen attention to details, strong typing skills and strong aptitude for numbers and other related reports.
• Proficiency with computer software and exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize, work under pressure; self-motivated, self-directed and optimistic; workplace flexibility or willingness to do other tasks and other duties uniquely demanded in other business situations.
